We have expanded our local delivery routes to include RG25, 26, 27, 28 & 29 Postcodes

We offer a next day delivery service to all addresses in the RG21, 22, 23 & 24 postcode areas Monday to Saturday.  Deliveries to RG25-29 Postcodes will take place Tuesday – Friday

 

Local Delivery is £3 for orders below £30 and

FREE for all orders above £30

Orders must be placed by 6pm to get next day delivery, any orders placed after 6pm will be delivered the following day.  For example an order placed after 6pm Monday will be delivered Wednesday.  For local orders to RG25-29 Postcodes deliveries will be made Tuesday to Fridays only unless by prior agreement.  While we will always aim to get this out to you the next available delivery day after your order, given the wider delivery area this may not always be possible.  We will advise you of our anticipated delivery day as soon as we process your order and will always work with you to find a suitable time and date.

We are also open for click and collect orders at our shop at 6 Mortimer Lane, Basingstoke, RG21 8SG.  Click and collect orders will be available for collection from 2pm to 7pm Tuesday – Sunday and within 24hrs of receiving your order.  We aim to have it ready the same day but in some instances this may not be possible.  If using our click and collect service, please wait until you have had your notification from us that your order is ready.

Not quite so local, no problem, we can deliver to any residential or business address in mainland Britain and most the British Isles, unfortunately we are currently unable to accept orders to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or anywhere outside of the UK.  We ship orders using Parcelforce 24 as a next day service

To most of the mainland the delivery charges are set out below:

Orders under £40 – £8.95

Orders between £40 & £70 – £5.95

Orders over £70 – Free

Unfortunately for some further reaching destinations such as, the British Isles and northern Scotland we have to charge a bit more to cover the increased costs charged to us.

Isle of Wight: £5.00 in addition to standard shipping rates

Zone 2: £7.50 in addition to standard shipping rates

Zone 3: £13.00 in addition to standard shipping rates

Are times guaranteed?

All orders placed with us by 5pm will be despatched the next working day on a 24hr service, we would love to promise next day despatch, but we are an incredibly small team and we would rather Promise you a service we know we can meet.  In many cases your order will be able to be sent the same working day, but we cannot guarantee it. We think it’s better to have a pleasant surprise of getting your beer earlier than expected, than be disappointed if its later than you thought.

IMPORTANT: While we do make charges for deliveries under £70, you are not paying the full cost for a next day service.  We cover a proportion of these costs as we believe that getting your beer to you as soon as possible is worth us sharing the delivery cost with you.  However, from the point that your order leaves our premises delivery is out of our control so please don’t be frustrated/disappointed if your delivery does not reach you in the specified timeframe.  Whilst we have a very high success rate in on time delivery, we cannot guarantee something out of our control.

Saturday service: Not currently available…we’re working on this but it is cost prohibitive at the moment. Think of it this way, surely its worth waiting a day or so extra and having the money for an extra beer or two?

Important: We have a really high success delivery rate on our service but we can never guarantee any delivery time-scale. all delivery times are guidelines rather than promises. We can not be held responsible for any delay to our delivery service. Any special delivery instructions (that comply with our terms and conditions) will be passed onto our courier, we can cannot guarantee they will be followed by the delivery driver.

Please don’t ask that delivery drivers call you as unfortunately they don’t have the time or the resources to get to your door and give you a call. You will get tracking information that will allow you to get your beer to you before delivery so please check these.

Age Verification

We are committed to being a responsible retailer and ensuring that our tasty beer only ends up in the hands of those old enough to enjoy it.  We therefore operate multiple layers of age verification, the first step is completed at time of order on our website, however to guarantee that we are only delivering beer to people old enough to drink it we also ask our delivery partners to verify your age at point of delivery.  This means that there must be someone at the delivery address who is over 18 to sign for the delivery, just like if you come into our shop if you are fortunate enough to look under 25 please don’t be offended if the driver asks for some ID.  We are unable to complete any deliveries without an over 18 signing for the delivery.

Tracking my beer…

You will receive an email from Twisted Crow saying “Order complete” when the order has been despatched from us.

Your delivery will then be made through Parcelforce. By leaving your email and phone number they can contact you to let you know more about your delivery time and day. Your details will not be used or shared for any other purpose other than to get your beer to you on time.

Standard deliveries should be attempted within 1-2 working days of your dispatch email confirmation. If you are not in a card will be left by the delivery company with instructions on how to track and manage a redelivery. If you haven’t had any contact from Parcelforce 36 hours after placing your order and you do require a tracking number please ask us for this at info@twistedcrowbeer.co.uk

What if the delivery drivers miss me?

Parcelforce will attempt delivery three times in total (usually on consecutive days) before returning the parcel to the local depot to await instruction. If no collection is made, the parcel will be returned to us.

If you’ve received a failed delivery attempt it is always best for you to contact the courier directly to rearrange delivery on a more suitable day.
